Online debut for scorio Pro, scorio's high-end account
Transpose scores, edit scanned notes, PDFs or graphics and MIDI export

Karlsruhe, November 2011. Transposing at the touch of a button or converting PDF files into a music file can now be done without expensive software! scorio.com, the online score editor for all ages has launched scorio Pro featuring four new professional functions. The introductory offer is just $ 3.95 for a monthly subscription.

"Writing music should be affordable for everyone," says Johannes Feulner, scorio.com managing director, about the launch of the online scorio.com note editor. All the original features of scorio.com, including space for up to 10 scores, will still be free. And even more free features will be added over the next months. Starting today scorio Pro provides users more options for creating their scores.

The transpose function from the scorio Music Case iPad app is now available with scorio Pro accounts. scorio Pro users transposing their scores in the online score editor can now edit and save their work to their heart's content. scorio Pro's expanded export function provides musicians with the option of exporting their new creations as a MIDI file.

PDF conversion is another novelty in scorio Pro. In the past, sheet music was often copied by hand and distributed. Nowadays it is simply scanned and forwarded by e-mail. But then what do you do with it? The scores can indeed be played, but if you want to make changes to it you have to enter the whole piece into a music notation programme. Now, with scoro Pro, those days are over! The score editor can read PDF and various other graphic files such as tiff, jpg, gif or png. User can open these files from their hard drive and convert them. The notes can then be processed immediately in the editor and exported or saved as a MusicXML or MIDI file. Unlike the scorio basis account, the scoro Pro account allows users to save as many pieces as they like.

Finally, the display of guitar frets has been added to scorio Pro's features.

scorio Pro is available by monthly subscription. The subscription costs $ 3.95 in the first month during the introductory period, after that $ 6.99 a month and can be cancelled at any time. For more information visit the product page at scorio.com.
